| Como Estan Todos! Well, just to tell you a little about me, my name is Jonathan from Salinas California. I'm married to my beautiful wife Veronica, and I have a wonderful little boy who's name is Aaron. Tejano music has really been my favorite music for about four years. I got in to Tejano music by listening to my friends CD's. Ever since then, I've been hooked! Tejano Favorites of mine include Eddie Gonzalez, David Lee Garza, Los Desperadoz, Michael Salgado, Elida y Avante, Grupo Vida, Masizzo, Juan P. Moreno, Javier Molina, Stefani Montiel, Intocable, Mazz, the list goes on and on... My biggest wish is that Tejano artists would come to California more often, because I'm really sure that Tejanos here would really appreciate them. |
That's right here in Salinas, we have a community radio station that plays Tejano Music Monday through Friday from 6am to 9am. I'm telling you, they play the best of the best Tejano Music! DJ's include Jay Chicano, Mickey "Bam Bam" Perez, Mario Martinez, Hector de Castillo, and Arnold Salas. These guys can really make your morning. When Jay Chicano se levanta "Enleonado," its time to start dancing because he'll be playing some great songs. On Fridays its Mickey or Mario playing only the party songs on TGIV, Thank God Its Viernes, no slow songs allowed on Fridays. Well, I'm telling you a little about them because, they work for the community and the people in Salinas loves to hear them play the Tejano Music. | |||||||||||||||||||
